Nonsemble Presents:
Screen Stories
A Showcase of Music and Moving Image
The New Globe Theatre, November 7 2014
Nonsemble take over New Globe Theatre’s unique cinema room to perform a collection of synchronised music and visuals. Screen Stories showcases the fruits of Nonsemble’s long-held fascination with music and the moving image. As the release of our second album, Go Seigen vs Fujisawa Kuranosuke, draws closer, we’ll be performing the work in its entirety for only the second time, accompanied by live, immersive visuals by Jaymis Loveday. We’ll also be presenting a bunch of other original works, including the polyrhythmic audiovisual journey “BMX” (as seen at TEDxBrisbane 2013), a new piece by Cameron Bower of Big Dead, and a minimalist-inspired re-imagining of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill.”
